Too often we seek approval from others, to fit in or be part of the crowd, most of the time the wrong crowd. In fact, the only one's approval that matters is from our Heavenly Father. He and He alone is your ticket to salvation, eternal life in Heaven. So, don't worry about trying to impress anyone, just look up and do what is right.

Everyone goes through struggles, troubles and insecurities. Everyone needs encouragement from time to time. I know I do, I get discouraged at times, but I can always take time to actually look up at my Heavenly Father, talk to Him and listen to what He tells me. There is nothing you have to go through alone. Your Heavenly Father is waiting to help you, you just have to ask Him.

God wants to speak to you on a one-to-one basis every day. He wants to lead you to the good things He has in store for you. Way too often we are selfish, we are hard headed and think we can do things on our own. Truth be known, when we do we make a mess of things. That's why it is so important to spend that alone time talking with your Heavenly Father.

When you accept Christ as your savior, a civil war begins inside of you. Your old ways of the world and pleasure starts battling your new way of what is right and good in God's eyes. Put on the armor of your Heavenly Father and don't give into the ways of the world.

Every day is a new start, a new chapter in your life. It doesn't have to be the same as yesterday, you can let go of whatever it is that is troubling you, start fresh. If you are carrying something today, give it to your Heavenly Father and start a fresh new chapter in your life.

Life gets tougher all the time as times change. It has become “All About Me” mean while you are told you are not good enough or you can’t do something. Well that is certainly not true! Never let anyone tell you that you can't do something, because the Bible says you can do all things through Him which strengthens you. Keep talking to your Heavenly Father and allow Him to lead your steps.

Always be in prayer for a loved one who is not saved. God promises us everlasting life with Him in Heaven if we will only accept Christ as our Lord and Savior. Isn't their salvation worth praying for?

Today is a day of Thanksgiving, but shouldn't everyday be Thanksgiving? Shouldn't we thank God everyday for His blessings, His gifts? God's gifts alone are not able to give you joy. God's gifts can only bring joy when they are joined with your gratitude. You can be surrounded by blessings, by relationships, but if you don't know how to turn blessings into praise, blessings will turn into pride in your heart and your life will never be filled with joy. Today and everyday thank Him for all of your blessings, your relationships, your provisions, your life.

If you make a mistake or bad decision, don't dwell on it, move on. Ask your Heavenly Father for forgiveness and guidance. If you focus on God's promises instead of your mistakes, your life will be filled with peace instead of misery.

Be grateful for everything you have received in your life. Good and bad it's all brought you to Jesus. The Bible tells us in all things give praise. That's hard to do during bad times isn't it? It gives us something to work on.

Why do you worry? Could it be that you are not worrying about what might happen to you, but instead could it be that rather what’s in you is not strong enough to handle what happens to you? Matthew 6:25-34 says 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Christ Jesus was born to man and died for one reason, to pay the price for the sins of all of us. Even while on the cross, He forgave a thief and promised him eternity. Friends, it doesn't matter what you have done, there is someone that will forgive you and will prepare a home for you. His name is Jesus! If you don't know Him personally, do it today, while you have another day, for tomorrow you are not promised. It will be the best decision you will ever make. If I can help, please let me know.

Matthew 11:28 says, "Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" Give Him a chance, it will be the best decision you ever make.

There is no love like God's love. No matter how many times you turn your back on Him, God will never turn His back on you. No matter what you go through in life, know that God will always be right by your side. With God, all things are possible for those who believe.
