Is coach Butch Jones on the hot seat?

I don't think so. Maybe next year if he doesn't win the east this year. unless he really falls of towards the end of the season I don't see him going anywhere this year

no I don't think so...his comments seem like he thinks he is, though. I think if he loses to Florida he will be feeling heat, but I don't think he will be on the hot seat this year. Not with AD already turning in his notice. He wouldn't make a change in a lame duck season just as new AD would be coming in the first of the year. The AD is just riding out it now, probably won't have much of a say about the future at all. I think if he loses out he will have a job at least through next year.

I know it don`t make any sense. I know a coach can have a winning record but if he looses to Florida and or Georgia too often. The Vol lynchin, tarin an featherin , fans go bezerk an the coach gets road outta town on a rail. that`s just the way Vol fans do things iffin ya loose to Florida and possibly Georgia.

He has two years period with the AD change BUT he will wish he was gone if he flubs up this season with all the noise from the fans...

Not sure, but with the way they've performed so far this year, he's GOT to be a little worried at least.

I will add I'm a CBJ fan, it just takes time. Change this year will be OC if there is one.
The only problem with OC's is you never know if the Head coach keeps his finger on them...
