Came across this little guy at work today laying on the asphalt trail. Always seen adult ones but this is the first juvenile I've seen. Put him in a container and relocated him away from our work area.

He is a pretty one! If people knew how many times they walk past or over a copperhead in the woods and never knew it.... they would probably stop walking in the woods.

You're probably right, this one was on the Appalachian Trail, I'm sure those hikers crossover and camp around them all the time and don't know it.
