Believe he must have been a 1-1/2 last year bc he looks 2-1/2 to me. I've got some 4 pt genetics on my place, well I should say no browtine genetics I guess, bc I now have a 6 pt with no browtines as well now. Have taken a nice 2-1/2 yr old forky on my place that rivaled my cousins 9pt that be took the same eve. If you want to shoot him do it, or just wait to see if he breaks out next year. ;)

My best guess is 2.5 Look at the way his belly goes into his back leg. Its still high, legs still look long.

I saw a 5 point last year that was well over 4 years old. Huge framed rack and lots of mass. I would have shot him if he would have been close enough and would have been dang proud of it. I also saw a spike 3 years ago that had 20 inch main beams that was 16 inches wide and he was mature. Some deer will never be what we hope because of genetics.
